Stanwell Park from on top Bald Hill

The design of this patch captures the essence of our area and illustrates what Stanwell Park is best known for, namely the beach, the escarpment that encircles the town and the north head bluff that attracts all the hang gliders and parasailers. It's a spectacular site to see 20 – 30 hang gliders circling above the town and then gently landing on the beach.

Needless to say, we get called out to rescue the ones that don't land smoothly.
